Summary of Plot: Zombie Apocalypse In the UK. Jim wakes up from a coma to find London empty, soon finds out that an experiment has gone wrong and the government ended up turning people into Zombies. Protagonist, Jim, makes some friends and he finds out the whole of the UK has been affected, they travel to the countryside in the hope of escaping the virus. Film ends with them being spotted by plane in the hope of being picked up.
What you liked? Emptying of cities and major roads - realistic, makes it emotional. Dark settings where the zombie attacks happen. Large knife, emphasis on having a weapon to kill the zombies. In the gardens there are light scenes were everything feels and seems to be in some sort of normality. Scene of looking over Manchester burning with angelic music playing in the background.
What did you dislike? The character Selena - too cliché of a character. Cliché romance scene - the kiss between Selena and Jim. Inability to stop swearing. Lightning flashing was too much to be able to tell what was going on.
Inspiration for your own product: Isolated areas. Using dark, dire, eerie settings.
